Oana Girnet is an illustrator and graphic designer based in Bucharest. Born in Humulesti, a place deeply rooted in storytelling and tradition, her work brings narratives to life through scenic, hand-drawn illustrations, blending a soft, handcrafted aesthetic with contemporary influences.
She studied Fine Art and Illustration at Coventry University (UK) and Universidad Europea (Spain), deepening her understanding of visual storytelling and refining her artistic voice. Passionate about children’s literature, she aspires to craft immersive worlds that captivate young readers through imagery.
